Weird Weather Monster.

This week is going to be a cold and wet :( 

SO! Everyone be prepared, have your umbrellas/rain boots/rain coats ready and keep yourself warm and dry~

Well, the rain caught me off-guard today so I here is a little complaint/suggestion letter I wrote: 
Dear Rain,

I like you but pls leave me a msg next tym before you come so I cn be prepared and enjoy the puddles you provide rather than the worry of my leather shoes getting wet. Thanks!

Life on the "Edge"

I am currently living in a triple and so I have my bed on the top of the loft. This is good, because, it means it is more of a hassle to climb up to take a nap! So due to the fact that it is higher up, on the side of my bed, there is bar that prevents me from falling down...but, I do not know how long it will last because I tend to find myself resting my head on it when I am taking a nap. Surprisingly, covering the bar with my comforter and then placing my head on top is actually pretty comfortable. I am not going to lie though, one time, I slept like that without the covers and woke up with a mark on my face so I had to get rid of it before I go off to class.

Anyway, my point is, unlike those people who live their lives on the edge by swimming with sharks or jumping off planes, my adventures on a day-to-day basis during a normal week of school lies in me sleeping on the edge. Now, how dangerous and daring does that sound? :)

More Tea? Yes, Mommy :)

After learning that my mom would be coming up to 99 Ranch, Lauren, being the great friend she is, offered to drive me there so I could see my mom for a little bit. The only problem is, I do not know WHEN she will be there. So, I asked my brother to give me a call as soon as he finds out that my mom is here.

The day went by slowly, hearing nothing from my brother. Six o'clock came and I began to wonder whether my mom will ever be here so I called my brother again and found out that they went to IKEA before hand so they should be on their way.

Lauren and I decided to go wait at a nearby coffee shop while we do our homework and have some coffee and we stumbled upon Tea & More which was literally right next to 99 Ranch. We went in and the longer we stayed, the more we fell in love with the place as the number of treasures we found increased. Not only do they have an ASIAN PHOTO BOOTH, a NAIL PAINTING MACHINE, and a COMIC LIBRARY but they also have a pretty LEGIT DRINK SELECTION. I ordered a hot chocolate and Lauren got a hot mocha. I like the songs they play there too and at some point, "Love the Way you Lie" by Eminem and I was talking to Lauren about how if the person doesn't mind the burning because he/she "likes the way it burns", maybe he/she is the burning body at the end of Lady Gaga music video "Bad Romance" and right after that the the weirdest thing happened- Bad Romance came on the radio.

THEN! My brother texted me and told me that my mom is now in 99 Ranch so we packed up, threw away our trash quickly and literally ran out the door. I am so happy I got to see my mom and I think that totally just made my night and all the waiting worth it. THANK YOU SO MUCH LAUREN WONG!

No Hot Chocolate?

So, after my Physics class today, I decided to go to my next class late because it was cold out and I wanted to get a Hot Chocolate from Rogers. I haven't had one since I got back to school so I was really excited. I went in and said, "Hi, can I get a small hot chocolate please?" and the girl working doubled confirmed by asking me "Hot chocolate, right?". I said yes and she turns around to make the drink then turning back 30 seconds later to hand me the drink which I thought was weird because normally, it doesn't take that fast to make; but I just payed for it and left. Then on my way to class, I took off the lid only to find that she gave me a cup of coffee :(

The Second Beginning..

So, as many of you can tell...if you ever come on to see if I updated my blog (the answer is no), I have not been on top of this very much and so, I am going to give myself a second chance and start over! So, wish me luck...again. :)

I am now on Week 3 and so far, things has been going pretty well and although during the first week back, SD has been having the weirdest weather ever, I think I am starting to feel the way it's suppose to be coming back again. Now, THIS is the way winter in San Diego should feel like! I really like the new apartment too and enjoys the fact that I have a kitchen to cook in. The triple doesn't feel that bad either, but my side of the room is still under-construction and still need a lot of tidying to do. Oh, and I just realized that I don't actually have a final in my Anthropology class so if I had changed my Math class with my final on Monday, I will actually be able to go home on Wednesday, but I did not so now I am stuck with having to stay till the last day....GRRRRR.

Well, that is pretty much all that has happened in a nutshell, very unorganized haha but I promise it will get better~

SLEEPLESS NIGHT~

It is currently 5am in the morning right now and although I am kind of sleepy, I do not want to retire to bed. I don't know, Spring Quarter didn't start off well and since then, it's just not getting any better. At this moment of time, emotions are just piling up in me.

The birds are out chirping and I am sitting at my desk, in the semi dark typing about random things in my blog which you are reading. My suitemates have all gone to bed so I am the only one awake.

I was researching about making a laptop bag earlier but then I realized I need to buy padding so I guess I need to postpone it till later. I really want to make one as soon as possible though becasue even though I don't take my laptop to class, I think it will be a fun project to work on.

I need to get through my Chemistry midterm first though, which is on the coming Tuesday night so I need to make sure I do REALLY REALLY well in it if I want to get a good grade in the class. My grades sucks at the moment and if I don't do better I'm really scared I will be kick out of school! Housing is also coming up and i STILL don't know where I will be living next year yet.

Another thing on my mind is Rome. I want to go but I still have not applied for my VISA yet and if I do not get on it soon, I'm really scared I will not be able to go in the end...there is also some material which I need to turn into the office which is due on the 15th. The thing is, one of those items is the plane ticket which I have not yet bought but I do not even know if I will be able to go to Rome so I do not know if I should even be buying my tickets yet. What if I don't get my VISA but bought tickets already?

At this point, I am just really missing all my family and friends from all over the world. Memories are really a beautiful thing but at the same time, it can also make you sad. My mom recieved the flowers I ordered for her yesterday and she called back crying becasue she did not expected anything like it which made me cry and realize how much I miss her. My dad also recently went back to Taiwan and I haven't talked to him much either since he's been back. :'(

On a happy note though, other than having to study my ass off this weekend, I will be going to the American Appeal Rumage Sale so we will see what thing I will buy/not buy from there. It will be my first so I do not even know what they have. I am pretty excited, except, if I don't sleep, I have a feeling I will be pretty tired tomorrow and fall asleep in the pile of clothes or something.

Yup, I am probably not making sense right now but it is okay..I am still not TOO sure what I am suppose to write in a blog so this will have to do. haha sorry but you guys have to bear with me here. Alright, I shall take a nap on my desk now, the sun is kind of out. WOW, I really am just a big blob of FAIL!
