Behind the Door.

News. I am now officially declared as an Environmental Systems Major.

(Knocking three times softly at the door)
(Nothing)
(Turns the door knob slowly and push it open)

The door is open...but not quite. A ray of light shines in from behind the other side. It seems...bright. From what I can tell at least through the thin line of opening. Do I dare push the door further to find out more? What's waiting for me? What lies in the future?

Nah, I think I'm okay for now with the slight wind and sun-- A little taste of what it might be like, and the rest I shall leave to my endless imagination.

Sparks. Sparkles. Sparkler.

March 5th. My birthday.19 years old.

I feel like I should have more to write than this but I honestly do not have much to say right now other than that I had an awesome birthday. For some reason, I am lost for words.
Simply put: The day started off slow but soon sped up-- so fast that I ended up having to chase time by its tail at the end of the night trying to make it to our reservations on time.
First I got to hang out with Adithya, a friend from Uplands whom I have not seen in 5 years, as well as his friend Ameya. Ate pizza for lunch at Chocolat and explored the cove.
Then rushed back to go out for dinner with my apartment mates whom I love dearly to an Italian restaurant called Me'Dici and the owner gave me a tiramisu cake with a sparkler on it instead of a candle. All I can hear playing in my head is Katy Perry's song "Firework".
The night ended with atrocious karaoke singing by four first-timers.

Baby you're a firework, Come on let your colors burst~
